[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Øresund Bridge is a combined rail and road bridge and connects Sweden (Malmø) and Denmark (Copenhagen) by crossing the Øresund. The first part off the connection is a tunnel wits goes from Denmark to an artificial island called “Peberholmen”. This island is build about the middle off Øresund.
The bridge its self is 7.845 meters long and the pillar is 203,5 meters high. The gab between the water and the bridge is at the highest point 57 m.
Used in construction.
Concrete 320 000 m3.
Structural Steel 82 000 T.
Reinforcing steel 60 000 T.
Steel for cable stays 2 300 T.
The water you can se on the photo is “Drogden strait” under this the tunnel lies.
The connection was opened the 1 July 2000.

I know, there is a lack off sharpness, but I have chocen this because off the motive.
PP work, tried to sharpen it, adjusted light, cropped and framed resized and posted.

How we would love to cross that bridge someday.
You made a lovely composition to show the beauty of this structure. And how lucky you were to get a white/red boat come sailing past you. Again a nice touch to include the info in the frame.

Hi Jens,
Although the composition is fine and the subject very interesting I think this image lacks a bit of sharpness and saturation, also the frame together with the text in it is a quite disturbing in my opinion. Nevertheless the boat and bridge, together with all thos vertical lines are a fine part of the image. I made a WS to try to improve it a bit although it was hard to do so. Hope you are not upset regarding this harsh critique my friend.

What a bridge - looks like a work of art... I will ignore the lack of sharpness.
Well composed scene, and the boat in the foreground is well placed.

I think you have heard from others that the sharpness is not the best.
Let me say that what I like about this is the composition. I like the repetition of shapes in the mast and the bridge

It is a very nice capture, the view is awasome with this beautiful bridge and landscape. But I think something happend with the quality of the image. You got some unclear spots ex the boat... It can not be you and Cannon. TFS

it looks like a F1 circuit.. this parabolic curve is an architectonic masterpeace.. i like ur POV that makes me admire it all.. DOF is a little bit bad.. but the compo wiht the wings of the bridge combined with the three of this boat is great!! good work..
