As you proberly know windmills are a big issue and a huge business here in Denmark, they are building them everywhere, also in the middle of the sea. Here they are in front of one off the old defense islands build also in the middle of Oeresund, build to defend Copenhagen.

Hi Jens

Excellent graphism of the white blades, of the wind turbines, against the darker blue sky. Well composed, with good sharpness. Tfs!

Hai Jens,
Very good picture of these windmills,
good and sharp,
Gr, Jacqueline

Hi Jens - I think there is a slight sharpness issue, but that's probably from cropping a shot from a 300mm lens and it is entirely forgiveable given the other qualities here.

The composition, the repetition of the windmills is lovely. There's a surreal feel to this for me, I think it's the first time I have seen a pic of these windmills at sea - very interesting, very unusual, very cool! The small yachts give a great feeling of the scale of these machines. I like this a lot, good shot!

Excellent picture of these windmills...

Hi Jens,

This is needed in today's era . . Energy that generated freely and available every where as long as wind is strong . .
Very well captured and composed . . Perfect weather too . .
Well done my friend . .

Tfs,
TJutjut

merhaba Jens...
verynice composition and shot...welldone...selamlar

Hi Jens,
Fine work. Although the windmills themselves seem like a little bit overexposured (not so easy, I know), the compo absolutely deserves maximum points. Nice industrial landscape, tfs. Regards, László

Hello Jens!

Cool post with this unique POV and perspective . The presence of the sailboats are giving the true size of these windmills ! Really impressive. Despite they must be giving pretty good targets on a radar screen, It is only a matter of time before one of them will be struck by a ship ( in fog for example ) They are certainly a navigation hazard now.

Well done!
Robert

Oh yes Jens - that is really what is standing out from my memorie of the Ringkobing Fjord this summer - all those windmills/windturbines.
I think they are very impressive - even more so if they are built in the sea like here.
TFS this view with us,
Els
PS Those tiny sailing yachts make them stand out even more still

Hi Jens,
Great capture, excellent composition. Due the use of the telelens the perspective crop looks superb! A fine posting my friend, different wings, different inspiration :-)
Cheers mate!

:) Later...

Hello my friend

An absolutely awesome sight. Well shot and presented.. I would love to see these for real sometime. I have a feeling the deep base sound from them spinning would be incredible.. yet again maybe they are silent?

Excellent capture

TFS regards Helen

When I saw this pic, in my "head" I heard CHOP CHOP CHOP...I can imagine the sound this hurd of windmills makes! What a cool pic Jens! Nice shot!

Photo a 4 star
Sharpness a 2 star

Hi Jens, sharpness issues aside an interesting photo. We have wind turbines down here bot none built in the sea. Exccelent colours and what is remarkable is that the position of the blased do not match on any of the towers. TFS,
David

A Blot on the Landscape!! Or Seascape!!
Clever PP work Jens I did think this was real for a while!
Kia ora
Janice

PS After being corrected (Oops!!) I see it is real! But I think the original is a better picture. More natural, and not over-sharpened. Also you have cropped too closely around the objects. IMHO.

Janice

Hi Jens,

I like both the posted shot and the original in w/s... can't make up my mind which is better.

Either way, the shot of the wind turbines is both interesting and well taken; you chose a good POV to get an interesting line.

We are now seeing lots of these springing up around our windy North West England coastline and I can see some from both my apartment window and from my office at work.

TFS

Nigel

Hello Jens,
A good point of view makes this a massive presentation of the huge windmills!
Attractive colour palette as the pure white goes well with sea and sky...
A well balanced composition, where the sailboats give effective scaling!
Greetings,
Pablo -

I love this subject and composition, yet my eyes get confused looking closely at the windmills because they start to look unreal..as if they were painted in, standing on top of the water...weird feeling. Nevertheless, I enjoy their stately formation and outstretched arms, contrasted beautifully against the blue background. Thank goodness for windmills:)

Hello dear friend.
Good perspective.Very nice POV
Bravo

Hi Jens, very nice image of those modern windmills.
I always liked their modern and simple lines and their white colours.
Beside being very ecological and efficient, they add beauty in a landscape.
Here there is a huge controversy on building windmills farms and I don't agree with those who are against them.
I am 100% for it.

Very well composed image and captured.

Regards, Yan :)
