Dear TL members.

As I already told you yesterday, I was in Kgs. Dyrehaven. The light here, north of Copenhagen, is very special, the area was as already mentioned established in the year 1669, later the King Christian V, established the Eremitagesletten.
Eremitagesletten is an area in the north of the park. Originally this area was the fields of the village of Stokkerup, but were enclosed when Christian needed it for hunting with dogs. Evidence of this can be clearly seen from the roads which are laid out in the classic star form that was typical for areas used in this form of hunting. In the middle of Eremitagesletten is the Eremitageslottet (Eremitage Palace), built during the reign of Christian VI. Eremitagesletten is encircled by forest (Dyrehaven). From Hjortekær to the north and the east there is a row of chestnut trees that make up the boundaries of the plain. This row of trees marked the northern extent of Dyrehaven until 1913, when the boundaries were extended north of Mølleåen.
This photo is taken from Eremitagesletten against the forest (Dyrehaven), the tree in the foreground give up years ago and looks almost as a skeleton.
In this photo I wasn’t fighting against the sun, so here the colors from the autumn and the light is easily to be seen.

Hej Jens,
Superb capture as always from You. Everything's great, maybe there's a very little bit too much of the foreground (the grass), but a stunning image. Tfs, best regards, László

Hi Jens,
Must be a lovely place to walk around and take pictures. Love that bleached wood - like driftwood on the seashore - if I was Susan I would want it in my garden and would beg you to smuggle a bit of wood in the trunk of your car ^-^.
TFS this lovely moment,
Els
