A good, clear capture of the ship - well done. Good light and sharpness.

Personally I can't say I like the "100" or the frame - I find such self promotion makes me uncomfortable, although maybe that's just cultural.

The shot on its own would be a real winner for me.

Perfect sharp and good composed picture of this Giant Ship.
I've been on 'such a things', too. Traveling from Genua to Parlermo visa versa, a 24 hrs trip. Having nice pictures of it.
I wish you and Susan a splendid vacation. It will be no problem to stretch your leggs on this ship.

Cheerfull and a right to the point shot
Sure .. for a 'normal' photo I know you would have gone for a more 'modest' aproach
but I understand .. to highlight the event.. the upcoming trip.. and your upload 100 !! (congratulations) you constructed the frame and photo accordingly ( as it is your good right )
The ship itself.. ..fine! good angle; POV gives just enough ' good bye' feeling .. the end of the pier and the boat departing.. well done

The Canon issue ..well what to say Jens ^_^ Realy laughed out loud ( l o l ) reading the note.
Shoes.. Jens you know how women are.. it will not be only shoes!! Since you fly to Turkey and 'leave' Europe you can buy the camera duty free !?!

My new camera.. hardley time to do any private thing, have not tested.. again.. maybe I bring only my good 'old' 400D .. if I bring the 40D too.. I could let you use it a day with your own compact flash card.. We will see ..

So right after you come home you see the N* Jewel ? Nice

Very imposing ship with marvellous colors and sharpness.

Talking about Canon...my humble and tiny little SONY camera wouldn't know where to hide of embarrassement if it were to meet yours :)
Last week I was taking some photos of a river in Coimbra and some bypasser sarcastically said outloud "That camera should be at the museum". Some people are really rude. Oh well...
Anyway, this is more like a letter or a diary, sorry :)
I do hope you're enjoying yourselves.
