| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This is the second photo I took during the Copenhagen Photo Marathon 2008.
The theme for this photo was Sing Along.
I took this in a second hand CD/Record store in Copenhagen. I borrowed their listening station and sat myself down in the leather chair wearing the earphones and pretending to be singing.
I used one flash from the left to try and simulate sunlight through a window and one flash on the camera axis and above to try and fill in the shadows. The camera was on self time.
I’ve uploaded 1st, 3rd and 4th photo in the workshop.
The competition rules did not allow for any photo manipulation or PP at all. All had to be done in camera. These are straight from my G9 with only resize.
The winners of the competition have been announced and you can see the photos on www.fotomaraton.dk. The English part of the site is not up to date but click Galleri in the top and the Vinderbilleder 2008. You need to select the 1st, 2nd or 3rd price in the bottom dropdown. There were two competitions, Digital and Classic. |
