[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is the fifth photo I took during the Copenhagen Photo Marathon 2008.

The theme for this photo was Community. The danish theme title was Fællesskab, which I think should be translated into Unison or In unison.

These guys had just won their soccer game 5-2 for promotion from 7th division to 6th

Used one flash from a little lef of and above the camera overpowering to fill in the shadows from the sun. Also allowed me to underexpose the sky a bit to make it a darker and more constrasty sky.

I’ve uploaded 6th, 7th and 8th photo in the workshop.

The competition rules did not allow for any photo manipulation or PP at all. All had to be done in camera. These are straight from my G9 with only resize.

The winners of the competition have been announced and you can see the photos on www.fotomaraton.dk. The English part of the site is not up to date but click Galleri in the top and the Vinderbilleder 2008. You need to select the 1st, 2nd or 3rd price in the bottom dropdown. There were two competitions, Digital and Classic.

Hello Jens!

For a straight unaltered shot. You did pretty well here . effectivce low POV for a clean and backdrop. The Danish colors of their shirsts are popping out from it.

Good expressions captured too.Specially from the center player.
