Iconic statue of "The Little Mermaid" (Danish: Den lille havfrue) sit on a rock by the harbour, with heavy industries in the background. In the photo, I overexposed the background to mask the industries partially to invoke a more serene feel.
The relatively small size (1.25 metres high and weighs around 175 kg) of the world-reknown statue typically surprises visotors who have come from afar. |

It's nice seen this photo, I took one like this when I was in Denmark, but never looked at it this way.
Nice result, great contrast in the statue!
