[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
It is a macro shot of Burmese cigarettes. In Myanmar local people don't smoke Marlboro or Camel, they smoke local "cigars" or "cigarettes". In focus is a tip of cigarette or "filter" which is just a piece of newspaper/cloth rolled into a shape of a filter. The rest of the cigarette consists of specs and crumbs of something. The tobacco is really low-grade, mixed with something that feels like small pieces of wood.
Like any cigarettes, they can kill you...

I have a photo of Myanmar cigarette factory in TrekEarth.

Postprocessing: quite huge crop, the image now consits only about 1/3 of the original image. Little unsharp mask, resize, added frame.

Photo taken using tripod and using Pentax AF 540 FGZ flash

I like this photo and your well-written note. I have been to Burma before and people definitely smoke a lot there.
TFS,
Jorge
