A very nice miniature landscape, taken (i presume) on a moment the sunlight is most favourable and warm, the evening.

Dennis this is gorgeous, I really like the reds and greens in the shot. The composition of the shot is spot on, well done :). Hope to see more macros from this lens as ive been looking at buying the same one.

The golden sunlight sets the mood and makes the stalk of the mushroom seem translucent. I find no fault with this lovely composition. Sorry you didn't "catch" a bird, but this was a wonderful find....:O)

Oh!!! This is so beautiful Dennis!!! The light is absolutely fantastic, the details are perfect and the shot has masterly put together. Well all this talk can be resumed in "I just love it"
It's one of the most beautiful nature macros I've seen and I only regreat not being able to save it has a favourite, because I cannot save anymore photos :((
What a delicate beauty this is!

WOW, this is really something else man! This is going to my faves. Everything is perfect - colors, light quality, contrast, composition, the warm tone. The mushroom has a personality. With any photo I really like, I will say 'I would hang this on my wall'. ;)
BTW, I had the same lens as you at one time, it does amazing macro work for a non-true macro lens. The price is good too.

Dennis, I agree will all the previous comments about lighting, composition, DOF, etc. The thing I also like is the border, top and bottom only with the thinnest green stripe definitely improves the picture. Great work. Paul

Very nice macro work. Love the detail and colors. Just has a lovely feel to it. Makes me feel lighter as if on a cloud for some odd reason. TFS.

Great work Dennis. The afternoon light here is wonderful and the colour of the mushroom and the little flowers around it gives it quite a surreal look. Good DOF as well.

Thinking very seriously about buying this lens or something very similar which is what lead me to this shot.

Wow this is an awesome shot! The composition and exposure are perfect. I like the sort of dark tones with the light from the upper left bouncing in. The colors are stellar and the details amazing. Forget the birds you landed a real gem here. Congratulations!
