[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi all! This is something I worked on yesterday. I wanted to give this shot a mysterious and surreal feel, and what better way to do it than inserting a waaayy too big moon in the sky. :) This picture consists of three different objects (all by me);

1. The photo with trees and horizon. Photo taken in daylight, but toned it down and added a blue tint.
2. The moon photo. Taken with my 80-400mm lens.
3. The starfield is created from scratch in Photoshop.

A beautiful creation. The colors are lovely and the details captured on the Moon are fantastic. Not easy to do! Just excellent pp work!

I value your PP-work; just great technique. But the objects are standing in a row; I miss some depth. Perhaps your moon is too big to make the scene realistic for my perspectiveseeking eyes.

excellent pp work, but one thing is a bit distracting: horizont is not straight and it seems that it should be. Like it anyway :)

If i like it... You kidding! I love it! I hearing Blue Moon on that crispy compo! You give a good explanation..
But did you take volontary a detail about that funny evidence... Look unther the moon... The way that ice is exploding to the sky... Give the impression it's the moon with a too powerfull attraction who do that!
And you isolate a so wonderfull landscape for that! Excellent POV!

I see you are very creative. I love this image. The big moon and the stars adds a good mood the the snowscape. Well done.

'Cool' one Paavo. Now one problem I notice here is that the light source seems to come from the left side and if this were truly nocturnal, then the moon would be the only source of natural light, thus the highlights on the snow would in fact be in shadow or atleast in the midtone range. Perhaps flipping that would fix it, though it would change the composition. Well done either way.
