[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Good evening folks! This is my second upload of my classmate Jesse who wanted a portrait taken of him. So I took a few captures of him in the studio at school and will upload the rest of them soon ,(itīs my first portrait capture in a studio) so heresīs the second one. Hope you like it as much Jesse did but I'll leave you all to decide that.
Thanks for all the comments regard my last upload of "Jesse" much appreciated.

Really nice shot! Well cropped/composed; good use of empty space. Bravo!

by studio you must mean with fixed and variable light..lights..i can see the hat box in his eye
the space at the left means something if you title it so..it does seem a lot of space.."there must be something up there...who loves me"
personally i think you are on the right track to become a good portrait photographer..getting into a studio is the basics for 'natural' lighting and controlled conditions
well taken
no w/s...its too high key..i would just ruin it.
god bless dennis..

Great portrait of your classmate. Like the way you captured his look and the blue eye. Very good POV and DOF. A winner IMO. Keep 'm coming!
Regard,
OWO

PS: It's in my fav-box

Very well done.I love the composition, good use of the negative space.Lightning is really good too.I also like his expresion, kinda dreamy. It's a cute guy too, so very good pic ;D

Dennis,

You'r getting there, really! Here the model is looking up in expectation or wonder or you name it, and everything is very well balanced. End of story, two points. ;)

I prefer the other one but this one is wonderful too.
Good pose, good composition.
Well done!
Nina

The colour of Jesse's eyes are amazing! And a great POV! Bravo:)

Great portrait! The way of his looks and head position is so good. Also the composition is perfect by leaving enough and affective space on left.
Perfect..
Elif

Nice portrait with subtle colours and well used empty space. There seems to be a hint of innocence and optimism in his expression. Perhaps posed...perhaps real. Only he knows.

Good portrait taken from an unusual and difficult POV, which makes it only more atractive. Courageous decision to leave the hair on his right side, I think most ppl would have decided to clone it out [and make a mistake]. I like it.

Alban

Good portrait, nice angle

In my favs ;))
Thanks
Fred
