For a first try, it's a very good try! Just a pity - at least to me - that there is that harsh reflection in your eye (flash?), which takes away part of the overall serenity of this portrait.
Just my opinion, of course. Feel free to (dis)agree ;o).

Nicely done Joni for only your 5th loading. Good light, fine detail and well composed. I don't know a fix for the flash reflection but I think it works anyway. TFS,
