[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hello Everyone,
I found this peaceful place just away from the beach and harbor , the view is down towards the center of the town of Kokkola ( Karleby in Swedish )which is 5 kms inland from where the river exits into the Gulf of Botnia .The Suntti river here is pretty narrow and picturesque with rustic red wooden boathouses and sheds lining up on both sides .I was able to catch good views from between the buildings themselves and through clearings along the bike path running back to town. Had a good light that day to shoot this scene, thank you for 'looking down ' the lazy river on your screen and showing your appreciation in a comment or a worshop ,
Cropped , adjusted contrast and shadows, a little sharpening , complemented with a drop shadow frame and text relating to the place it was taken ,

A beautiful composition with this amazingly calm river to act as the perfect mirror!
Rich colours and fine details, good repetition effect in the cottages...
Good division land/water, and the two boats break the pattern and add some excitement!

Oh man, what a nicely composed, and presented image. It just makes me smile and sigh each time I look at it.
The boat, cottages and, especially, the reflection on the water make this a magnificent image.
