[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Lonliness...it is such a cold word. And this picture tries to portray it. A lonely person in a mid of ice clinched sea walking to oblivion, alone...

Actually, the reality is not so bad. I was walking with my wife on the frozen Espoonlahti bay, and it was darn heavy to walk in the soft snow, with the camera. Hence, I had falled behind and saw this interesting composition. Not much post-processing, only cropping and some contrasting in PS.

Hi Alan,
Great composition. You're successfully interpreted the word "lonliness". Great job.

Well done.TFS

My only comment is that the man is too close to the horizon so that it almost becomes a part of the black line. I would have preffered a little more space so as to isolate the man image. Otherwise, yes, it catches my interest.

I like your shot Alan! well composed.
Maurizio
