Lonliness

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Lonliness...it is such a cold word. And this picture tries to portray it. A lonely person in a mid of ice clinched sea walking to oblivion, alone...
Actually, the reality is not so bad. I was walking with my wife on the frozen Espoonlahti bay, and it was darn heavy to walk in the soft snow, with the camera. Hence, I had falled behind and saw this interesting composition. Not much post-processing, only cropping and some contrasting in PS. |

Hi Alan,
Great composition. You're successfully interpreted the word "lonliness". Great job.

Well done.TFS

My only comment is that the man is too close to the horizon so that it almost becomes a part of the black line. I would have preffered a little more space so as to isolate the man image. Otherwise, yes, it catches my interest.
I like your shot Alan! well composed.
