Today's evening walk photo.
Taken approximately when the sun set and towards the sun (it was cloudy in the horizon).

The boat is the fire brigades rescue boat.

Tried again HDR because of the strong back light in the image.

HDR of three shots +-2 ev.

Greetings Pentti,
well I may not be the most knowledgeable critiquer,but I think I can recognize a really good image when I see one ,& IMHO this one meets that criterior. Well taken,would not have taken this for an HDR,so that must say how good it is, yes?
I like this composition ,where the boat takes up about half the image space but in perfect balance with the other half. I like how you have captured the colours of the evening sky,the small area of golden light, really drawn my eye into this scene.good clarity & sharpness.I like this peaceful mood you have portrayed.

Very nice atmospheric shot and I would not have taken it for hdr either so IMHO that is a good thing because they can look ott Well composed and nice light

Hi Pentti,
This is really a beautiful capture of this early morning scene!
The HDR worked so effectively. It has lit the shadows just rightly allowing to us to see the details on the wharf and trees. The sky is spectacular with the hole in the clouds and the splendid light. You rendered a gorgeous atmosphere!
