jaaah.. het licht op die pijp en op de rookwolk is echt heel mooi! toch zou ik de foto een heel klein tikje naar rechts draaien. Hij heeft maar een heel klein tikje nodig...
Verder is het een foto met veel detials en er is dan ook veel te zien... eentje waar je naar blijft kijken zogezegd.

Hoi Hans,
Ik zou het niet weten van die horizon. Ik denk dat het eerder te maken heeft met een lichte lens distortie samen met een natuurlijk vertekend beeld. Als je de foto naar rechts draait weet ik zeker dat er daarna vertikalen aan de rechterkant fout komen te staan. Er is meer dan alleen even de foto horizontaal draaien.
Anyway, de kleuren en licht zijn echt prachtig. Ook het diepte perespectief is erg mooi. Zo'n hoog standpunt geeft niet weer een andere beeld.

Hi Hans,

The last rays are nicely captured on the billowing smoke from the factory in the distance. The factory itself is well highlighted by the reddish sunlight. Although this is an industrial setting, you've captured it in its best light. TFS

Love the sun reflecting off the steam cloud and factory.

Very busy photo with lots going on, depicts this area well. You must have been up high to get thes shot.

Hi Hans, I think that I may have preferred that you leave out the industrial part of the city as I find the architecture of Helsinki so beautiful. I do understand why you included it though. It is a part of the place. The boats some how give a calm and peaceful feel to the photo whilst the industrial area gives it another feel. I like the beautiful clouds and coloring of the sky. I hope to visit this place one day. :) Lisa

Missed this one the other day Hans!
Great shot .. love the way that evening light hits the tops and sides of the buildings .. especially that factory on the right. The sun lights up that cloud of smoke and makes it look almost like an explosion. Lovely pink tinge of color in the sky too.

Dit is een kwestie van mazzel,timing en geduld,hier ben je precies op het juiste moment op de goeie plek,en dan wordt zelfs een grote gore fabriek een ware sensatie.
