The Château of Montpoupon is part of the Route Historique des Dames deTouraine.
Exceptionally situated, high above the surrounding countryside, Montpoupon Castle , began as a Middle Age fortress, then became a Renaissance Manor house.
It is now home to a unique Museum where the horse is king.
You will find 25 rooms showing the importance of the horse in the art of hunting and a variety of occupations and crafts :
Hermès (50 scarves), Périnet, Agry, Deyrolle, Duprey, stables, saddle
makers, black smiths, an art collection of over 2000 pictures and 1200
post cards.

Quelle belle lumière! Les formes naturelles du château si bien soulignées et le contrast presque fantaisiste des traces d'avion dans le ciel donnent une allure particulière à cette photo. Bien vu et bien saisi Philippe!

Light is beautiful giving the picture a lot of warmth, nice colour-tones too as well as this strong castle, nice "other" image, Philippe !

Great shot of the setting sun hitting the Chateau, don't like all the line from the jetliners in the sky but not much you can do about that.

Looks like a scene from 'Lord of the Rings', Beautifully captured Philippe. The contrast and colors sets the mood of this picture. Though you lost some details on the shadows but obviously this is the kind of effect you want to achieve. Congrats and thanks for sharing.

J'ai toujours aimé les châteaux, quel merveilleux endroit.

Glad to see you here.
Tremendous light ... and those words are not enough for it .. my next instinct was to curse all the jet trails .. but you know on reflection I am not sure about that .. they create a sense of anachronism. .. but yet maybe it would be worth the hours to clone them all out. Wonderful image.
