Two years ago I went on a bike-holiday through the Loire-region in France, known for it's many beautiful castles, like this Chateau de Chambord at Chambord.

*The royal Château de Chambord at Chambord, Loir-et-Cher, France is one of the most recognizable châteaux in the world because of its very distinct French Renaissance architecture that blends traditional French medieval forms with classical Italian structures.

It is the largest castle in the Loire Valley, but was built to serve only as a hunting lodge for King François I, who maintained his royal residences at Château de Blois and at Château d'Amboise.

Simply a fabulous image Bia. Axes are so perfect along with well controlled luminosity. More coverage of sky is providing good depth in the perspective. Excellent shot my friend, well done.

What an amazing looking place, and just built for the king as a hunting lodge..I wouldnt mind hunting around inside this place, would get lost for a week I reckon.

Bianca I see you took this a couple of years ago now, a large Fstop say F10-18 would have been much better here, to get front to back sharpness..but maybe your camera wouldnt go as high, but even F8 would have been ok.

Lovely colours, so pleasing to the eye.
