This photo was taken in Charenton du Cher in Berry. It represents the old crane of the port of Laugère (channel of Berry).
It was a private port whose quay was 100 meters long in 1906. This crane was used for the loading and the unloading of the goods between the barges of the channel and the coaches of the railroad.
I didn't know his exitence.
The original photo is color. I chose to put it in sepia, to age it.
I am not satisfied with the result. What do you think about it? |

The photo itself is well framed. I like the sepia effect but it looks just a strong and I would like a little more contrast to the tree and sky.
