Male nude?
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This was shot in a small village near Orleans. I liked the old wall and the color of the statue. This wall gives you a hint as to how old this statue is... and how well kept it is... one cannot but wonder how many generations of people have cast an eye on it before us? This is why my compo deliberately puts emphasis on the wall and the top of the statue. i have a whole scene that i will add as a ws, but i definitely like this one better.
My little series on male nudes is now over ... Thank you all! |

Hello Eric !
Amen
Bises confraternelles et chastes

Tittle of this photo means poor provocation for me. The note about photo is better than the shot itself, but it is still not enough to give any point. Reason to take such a photo (cropping the bottom) is not clear for me.
Eric
My answer is : Not, it isn't a naked man, it is the representation of an only son.
Besides he must profit from a special protection not to have aged like the wall. I like much the details of the bodies perfectly represented.
Compo is well controlled, the square cross in the left lower corner leaves place with wall texture.
Good work
I do not agree with Jan.
No provocation here, the evil is visible only by the people who seek it.
Pascal
I prefer the ws which emphasizes better the beautiful body with a superb light
