Nice shot and ths is a kind of decisive moment. It is romantic indeed. The background is not sharp enough IMO.
I propose you this WS to highlight the main subject.

This is a very nice and romantic photo. Contrary to dmoniotte I feel that the background is perhaps a little too sharp. The subject to me is the kiss and if the background were any sharper there is a risk of distraction away from that. I don't have much experience with sepia tone but I like the effect it has given.
Thanks for lifting my spirits a little.

Beautiful candid romantic shot. The hair of the girl makes the image stand out among many such shots. The intimacy is highlighted by the background. Slight softness of focus atually enhances the effect. The original shot is certainly better.

Interesting shot. I'd prefer details to be sharper with stronger contrasts (IMO of course). Sepia or BW are a good choice.
I found your shot while wandering in pictures about Région Centre/Orléans and this picture drew my attention...
