The school in 1900
In rural areas, the school often limited itself to a unique room in the city hall of the village.
The boss sat on the stage, next to the blackboard while the pupils of any age took place on their wooden writing desk.
In the heart of the class was held the heater which every pupil lit(switched on) alternately and who served at the same moment as heater and of warmed mess tin, canteens being rare in the time.

The lessons of our big relatives(parents) were theoretical: reading, writing, calculation, spelling, morality: lessons of morality and educational civil and manual: work of the wood and the work of needles for the girls.

Avant et après, l'école, du moins, le bâtiment existe toujours. Histoire intéressante l'illustration de nos jours est moins animée que la photo 1900. Peut être la photo a été prise un jour ferié ?.

Belle composition j'aime beaucoup la luminosité ambiante et les couleurs. La comparaison avec l'ancienne est tellement intéressante, bonne proposition. Bravo !

Cette image rapporte des mémoires de la vieille école où j'ai étudié.
Les nuages divins, le ciel et les lumières chaudes font une bonne et calme sensation dans cette image.
