Sologne is a land of woods and ponds, and very wellknown for hunting. The pools and marshes which are characteristic of the region are due to the impermeability of its soil, which is a mixture of sand and clay.

The very famous "Château de Chambord" is in the area of "la Sologne", but there are a great number of little castles like this one, the château of Nançay often built with bricks and stone edges.

salut Henri,

a great shot.. the architecture looks so rich and ancient with fanatstic details and definitely the color conversion is a wow idea here and it adds this "Mood" to the overall composition, the sky is pretty intense and dark and your POV is simply outstanding.. this is certainly brilliant accompanied by a great note, meaningful words and work:)

a bientot

Bonsoir Henri,
Compliments!
Béa
