Hello Adri,

I couldn't help following your Internet link to find out about this interesting chateau. Like you, I spent much time visiting the chateaux when I holidayed in the Loire earlier this year.
I like your pov where the inner keep is framed by the curtain wall and the pathway leads the eye under the arch. The diagonal composition works well and the textures of the walls show up well.
My suggestion would be to add a little more contrast, otherwise, perfect.

Hi Adri

Good use of the arch at left as a framing device on the bg red turrets of the castle. Excellent sharpness & color contrasts between hot & cold. Tfs!
