A leaf at the bottom of a spider thread was whirling in my garden with sun light coming from backside.I opted for a great iso:3200 (but it was maybe too much ) to have some dof and a great shutter speed, because the leaf fluttered about everywhere.I had to take a lot of shots because I wanted to see it with the great hole, sign of injuries of time;... and my thought was , leaf, life, where is the difference ?

focal 300mm = 450 equiv 24x36

Bonjour Henri,
Excellent example of minimalism well observed and excellent captured. The sharpness is spot on with the thread well shown. Indeed it can be used as contemplation of how life is...hopefully you will find more (strong) threads to stay on TL.
Anyway I like this picture a lot, chapeau!
Hans

Hi Henri
nice composed
very good POV and DOF
beautiful contrast and light.
take care
Riste.

Bonjour Henri,

A rather simple but a powerful composition!
I like the great mood into the picture. The intense colors of the leaf, which is well supported by such a thin thread from a spider-web, is simply amazing. I agree with Hans on his remarks too.
A wonderful work, my friend!

merci,
Paras

Interesting vertical composition, simple but yet surprising...))) The web tread is present and well captured, and that leaf clinging to it offers good colors, well balanced, and very well detailed. (I like seeing all the many small but apparent, details on the leaf.) Main subject is sharp, crisp with excellent definition.

Very nice neutral colored out of background, that bring color contrast with the leaf, and bringing it up. This is nice work.

Bonjour Henri.
Une bonne image avec un cadrage original, les couleurs automnales sont parfaites. Superbe.
Bonne soirée.
Urs

J'admire ! et question philo aussi.

Hello Henri,

A fine minimalistic shot!
I like how you have composed the shot with the spider's silver thread creating a diagonal against the dark b/g.
We all need something strong to hang on to!

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Hi MF Henrie,

simple but very meaningful thematic presentation. The colours and vertical framing are great here.
TFS and have a nice night MF!
Cheers,

Bayram
