Yep 'a tree is a tree' but you have captured this one very well! Although the sky is a bit boring and 'empty'(excuse me it's only my opinion).Overall well done and TFS!

Hi Mary
I have to say Fumare's workshop is an improvement on this, mostly because of the composition. In my opinion the shot is too 'balanced' between land and sky, and that makes it quite boring. Stronger composition makes a more dramatic and exciting shot.
The other issue is the overexposed sky - but I don't have any answers for you, because I am still trying to learn how to avoid that problem!

I think this tree would look even better if it were shot with a blue sky in the background. I would try to shoot the scene under different angles towards the sun and see which one would give you a bluer sky.
