Yes, this is very intriguing silke! I too have a fascination with windows and doors bricked or closed! It almost makes me mad....like they are shutting out life! This is amazing, nice detail and tones! It's like saying, "No room at the Inn"

Are you sure? Egyptian have some closed door like that into pyramid over the royals chambers... Door who not let pass the body... but invite the spirit to pass by....
It's an evidence that it was not recent! I enjoy the way it have good texture to show!

Hi Silke,
Well spotted and perfectly captured. These sealed doors do rise a lot of questions and probably will hold its secret for ever. I am just curious, were there any unpleasant smells? :)
Details and exposure are superb. The composition with the wall leading the eye in is great.
TFS,
Niek

Hello Silke,
Yes, it's fascinating! Closed, barred, locked doors let your mind run riot! I have a similar desire to discover what's there! This particular door holds more interest; it has been partially blocked with one type of brick and then completed with another type! Come on Mrs. Sherlock Holmes! What happened!
Great detail, textures and lovely tones of colour.
Best wishes, my friend,
Bev :-)

Thats an open door, Silke. A closed book. haha

Hi Silke:
I am impressed by your notes as well as the capture...
A unigue texture on the image and very pholosophical capture with details & colors!
It speaks volumes that God is far above our hand made doors:)
TFS!

Hello Silke,
Interesting detail has been captured! This makes me wonder what's inside, maybe an effective way of getting rid of someone...
Good details and colours, fine texture in the stone wall!

Hello Silke
I wait that in my hour the doors are open, and no closed as these.
In fact there is explanation for the closed of the door!
very nice captured and detail.

What is on the other side? I have a vivid imagination - there might be a secret space, some hapless soul walled in .... the bricks look old, so it's been that way for quite some time. Interesting find.

Hi Silke. Well seen and creativly presented. It is alway good to see how well these old buildings can last and how needs change over time. Good work. Murray.

Hi Silke,
the textures are interesting and so are the colours. Vertical format is appropriate of course.
Best regards, Daniel
