[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [French]
The Barath Natya is a dance of southern India, the most difficult ...
Initially, this devotional dance, narative dedicated to the deities, was executed in the temples and palaces.
See physical prowess and precision of gesture in relation to the pace of the tabla and singing.

Hello!!!
I like this photo very much. Bharatnatyam is really difficult. The things on his legs called "Gungru". I think there are about 300 ringing bells on each of his legs (it's only for professional dancers). they are very heavy.
I am Kathak dancer, It is northern Indian classical dance. But I use only 100x100, even 100 are heavy enough. :)

Hi, JeanPaul :)
Excellent, very original photograph. Very good technically. Supplementing the description with the dance and the singing very accurate. It lets for better getting to know this culture.
Thanks :)
Zofia
