Reflections of Nancy

Well back to Nancy (OK ladies start the female jokes again). In this water puddle one of the arches of the gate to the Place Stanislas, a gorgeous square were you feel as if you are in the 18th century.

Well again a bit of an experiment, playing with reflections what I like. An artistic impression again, tell me your opinion.

Good morning Hans

Oh its such fun to experiment, this is just superb the reflection is crystal clear and I love the POV.

Keep experimenting I like the results :-)

TFS kind regards Helen

Hi Hans, very artistic. I love the tones and the imagehas been well composed. TFS,
David

Bonjour Hans,

It's quite pretty, your Nancy wife when it make reflection. I like the vision of the arch reflecting itself in the water puddle pool very clear and limpid, the downpour had just passed. The minimalism of your photography gives an aspect indeed very artistic and very original, I like!

Ho! the Stanislas place, what I intended some to speak and still with each time we evoke with my husband (it was based all beside the Air Base 133 Nancy-Ochey of the French Air Force), his military service, it lived one year over there, making the way between Lorraine and Normandy.
I had the promise which one day, we will go there for his pleasure, his memories, and me the discovery of this place which besides, I believe lately knew important work for its embellishment.

Bonne journée mon ami,
ton amie Corinne

Hi Hans,
I like this! Great reflection in the puddle and very clear! Interesting just to see that little bit of an arch, I like the monochromatic colours too! Well done and TFS
Cheers Tina :-)

Hi Hans,

Very well seen! Overall a darker look, with natural colours and a good frame to underline those colours. Looks very simplistic and arty to me. Good job! Greetings from Bianca (from a not so clammy Zandvoort...due to the seabreeze...:-)

Hi Hans, this is a very nice image, I like the originality, the tones and the low pov on the reflection.

Greetz! Yan :)

My sister is Nancy! HAHAHA!...it looks like liquid gold! Nice shot Hans!...some day...I will go!....I'm just 6 little numbers away from millions...HAHAHA!

Hi Hans,

Definitely it's a clear and sharp reflection image. A curve and straight lines. Great experiment my friend. And it's an excellent idea.

Well seen here Hans.. nice reflection, I like reflections and often look for them.. you see them in the most oddest places.. and it takes a good eye to see them (the odd ones)... so well done.

Cheers

nice sereen colours

Hi Hans,

It's not the most exciting reflection I've ever seen ;-) BUT I love the tones you captured here! When it comes to the reflection, there is just very little of the Place Stanislas to see... Not that you need to get the entire building into one reflection, but this is very little ;-).

Greetings from an internet cafe in Singapore!
Dennis

Hi Hans, splendid reflection with lovely elegant presentation, very well done, ciao Silvio

Hans,
I think it's great that you caught a little bit of architecture shape in the water puddle. By not including the subject in the foreground you gave the viewers something to imagine. I do think the mood of this shot is great as well as the tones. Almost sepia....looks great. I like the details with the cracks. I think your name would look better on the lower portion of the border. I think this is a very nice.
Scott

So Nancy has the curves in the right place, hey????
Excellent abstract capture

I don't fully follow the note Hans, but the image has appeal... not sure where it stems from, but I like this... and the choice of framing is quite neat and earthy... though it's gray. Anyways, I just like it- and I usually don't like images such as this.

TFS,

Biance (this is my new account.)

Good one Hans.. but you do not fool me.. you had to make an urgent ''pee stop '' right?
Did you keep your socks dry ? Nice on both photo and imagination :-)

John
