I like the FG a lot. do you have a shot with that bushes and the green land in bg ? with not so much sky :). The colors are beautiful but the sky is grainy :)

Vraiment un beau contraste de couleurs pour cette composition en général et sur cette pente herbue en particulier. Les zoziaux en plein envol apportent une touche de vie bienvenue a ce joli paysage champêtre. Superbe.

I actually think your higher contast works nicely here Jonathon. Good colour, fine detail and very well composed with the diagonal of the hillside and just enough foreground before the trees. We call the lapwing a plover here, pretty near the same bird and they do not fly in formation, all over the place as you depicted here. TFS,
