A awesome capture of these Red Arrows forming a great composition!
One can admire the Arrows from every angle in one 'frame'!
Great lighting and sharpness and an adequate speed of 1/2500 sec to freeze the action!
Beautiful colors and contrast with perfect PP work.

Hi Hans, Great shot of the planes. It's interesting how we usually think of the sky as blue and the smoke from planes as white. Here it is the reverse. I get so excited watching the planes, I forget to take the photo!! hahaha

It really shows that if you know your subject,just how much better the captured image will be. Perfect timing, with tack sharp details,I'm guessing this was a panned shot Hans?

Very good capture - perfect timing I must say! Good job keeping the shutter speed super-fast to ensure a crisp, sharp, properly frozen moment of action. All levels are beautifully managed and you obviously had good light in your favour!
Perhaps next time you could ask the plane in the middle to position itself a little higher, so that it dosn't compete for space with the aircraft below?

Hi Hans,
Picture perfect shot, the planes look perfectly frozen with the super-fast shutter speed. Very clear details and vibrant colours, couldn't have asked for a better sky as the BG. The POV you've chosen makes it look 2nd and 3rd plane from the bottom are almost touching. Awesome capture, the panning technique has worked wonders.

Nice one Hans,

No matter how many times i see the Red Arrows fly, i never tire of their precision and display.

This is indeed a fine catch.
None of the aircraft are hidden behind another aircraft's smoke trail, and the air is quite clean, giving you an ideal, haze and smoke free shot.

Nice reds that haven't been exaggerated with over saturation that so many people feel obliged to do.
