I find really beautiful your compo, too bad that the "black point" is too close to the green of the flowers, so that the overall effect is loosing power. I would have like to see more contrast (and brightness) on the lower part.
Neverthless the sky is stunning and helps so much also your compo, cause the shapes describes a line which lead our eyes to the sun.

Hi Jean,
I saw your question in the forum and I then found this photo. There are many options to adjust the shadows but the best methode is still when taking the photo. You need to understand that shadow area contain less information than highlight areas. For this photo you could have either used a grad ND filter, or you could have made two photos. One exposed for the sky and one for the flowers. And there is a third option. Shoot in RAW and convert two exposures although you will need to expose the photo correctly.
Your PP resulted in strange edges around the flowers and still a lot of black inbetween the leaves.
