[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [French]
I fought against my fear of the vacuum to obtain this photography top of a cliff of the town of Etretat. It is not most famous with its needle and its arch because there was fog of sea which accompanied me throughout my stay in Normandy, impossible so to speak to take photographs in edge of sea except the last day right before taking again the road (look in the workshop the photography of the rock of the needle which one could obtain towards 5 P.M, sad). This more clareté side. In bottom, you see the "Manneporte" which is has Rock Arch West of Etretat. The small beach is out of rollers. You can see the stratification marked well in chalk by the flint beds. I was at an altitude of 102 meters. If the heart to you of said and that you want to leave your car in the city, you can try yourselves to go up thanks to a staircase of 180 steps.
The wind howled in the ears, I could not even use my tripod, the blowing wind too extremely. The cliffs which frame the village and the beach inspired by the impressionist painters Claude Monet or Eugene Boudin. An adventure of Arsene Lupin, hero of Maurice Leblanc, proceeds there: The hollow Needle. The writers Flaubert and Maupassant were faithful beach and village.

Bonjour Corinne,
Bravo! Annie

Hi Corinne,
Wow....this is a breathtaking view mon ami! Looking at this photo almost introduces the vertigo feeling. Maybe a small adjustment of brightness is needed to make it realy perfect, the middle part of the rocks are a bit too bright (IMHO). Anyhow, an excellent composition together with the perfect frame a fine posting! Chappeau!

Hi corinne:
This is an outstanding work, and your notes help a lot to understand the circumstances in which you captured this image. Great details all the way through and your frame presents it well, the saturation of colors is well balanced and natural.
Excellent work:)
