What makes this view special is that it is what Monet saw from his house. I took this while on holiday last year. Unfortunately taken with a kit lens - would like to do it again with better equipment. On the other hand it was a beautiful morning and early enough to beat the crowds. It was spring and the gardens were at their most beautiful. It was quite moving standing where Monet, no doubt, paused to view his wonderful garden.

Hi Terry,

Giverny!! I love the place as Monet is one of my favorite painters. This is beautiful the way you have used the window as a frame for the lovely flowers. I think a closer crop would be nice too... to emphasize the beautiful tulips.

thanks for sharing this beautiful photo. It brought back nice memories of my visit to his home!

thanks Terry! Lisa

Monet was lucky to see this view, as were you! Inspiring indeed!
Nice perspective and pov. Such a nice colourful and bright image!
TFS!

Bonjour Terry,
Le titre est très bien trouvé, Monet va être jaloux, il n'aurait pu faire mieux face à cette jolie composition de fleurs de toutes les couleurs
Amicalement Odile

Hello Terry
I can see why Monet would paint a image like this, the colours are wonderful. The window acts like a frame and keeps your eye focused on the flowers. The blue sky and tree branches bring the whole image together. Well done.
