[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is the famous "Pont De Normandie"
When construction was completed in 1995, after 7 years of building, it was the longest cable-stayed bridge in the world spanning the river Seine for about 2.143m.

In this picture I like the way the cables interact with the towers and the road, forming almost a perfect 3-dimensional triangle.

Hi
Cool symmetrical with photograph I like the idea and using the place, the very interesting photograph, I am giving some thought to the b&w version.

It's a very beautiful bridge indeed, Tom. Your PoV is the best for it, as it's very tricky (if not forbidden) to stop while traversing it to get some shots. Walking the side-roads is feasable (I did it) but it doesn't render a good compo on the bridge. The view on the Seine's estuary from the bridge is terrific though.
A very nice capture.

Great capture Tom - very striking composition.
I think I prefer your colour version to the b&w workshop, but I like the higher contrast of the workshop - that bridge is a great piece of architecture and you have photographed it brilliantly.
There is to me a small issue of the sky, not exactly overexposed but very washed-out, and the upper reaches of the bridge are pale also. I wonder if a gradient or some other post-processing would have strengthened that? I also suspect the upright isn't entirely vertical, it's just a fraction of a degree but makes a difference.
I'm just being picky - this is a great shot, very striking!

jajaja, dat is toch een prachtige brug, he. Iedere keer als ik erover rijd, ben ik COMPLEET onder de indruk. Mooie foto, wazig weertje, zo te zien.
