[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
One of the numerous pictures I took at the Lesbian and Gay Pride Parade in Paris last Saturday. More than 500,000 people gathered for the LGBT March from Denfert Rochereau district (south of Paris) to Bastille district to revendicate against discriminations made to gays and lesbians.

You can see here the Colonne de Juillet, historical symbol of the fight for freedom located on the place de la Bastille, another historical freedom symbol, the one of the French Revolution.

Different French political parties were represented at the Parade, here the Communist French Party.

Bonjour Sylvie. Quel chance tu as eu de pouvoir participer à la fête en ce samedi ensoleillé. Moi j'étais coincés dans un bureau ce jour là depuis 7 heures du matin. Je comptais finir de travailler avant midi et ainsi rejoindre la marche, mais comme rien ne c'est passé comme je voulais, je suis sortis vers 17:00. Pas de photos pour moi cette année. Heureusement que tu étais là pour couvrir l'évenement.
Un ami à moi y était et à fait cette photo que je trouve vraiment trés forte.

il y a si longtemps que je ne suis pas venue dans ta galerie, mais je me doutais que tu serais à la manif de la Gay Pride pour nous montrer des images de cet événement.
Je le vis par procuration grâce à tes clichés uniques et magiques comme toi seule, sait les faire sur TL France. Je ne peux pas m'y rendre mais j'aurais toujours aimé participer pour exprimer ce que je ressens lorsque je vois l'intolérance qui peut aller jusqu'à la haine. Mais ma sclérose en plaques, impose des limites à mon corps.
Qu'est ce que les hommes politiques, récupérateurs, faisaient là, juste pour qu'on les voit, bien on les voit bien assez comme là, ils n'ont pas à venir gâcher une fête d'espoir, pure qui n'a pour objectif que de montrer l'amour
Enfin, je dis ça avec mes mots à moi, ils sortent de mon coeur.
Ta photo, colorée comme cette fête, et sous un angle superbement choisi.

nice picture with almost too bright colours .. but life is sometimes colourful. may be it is a pity that the balloon touches to man on the statue but I hope you will post some more..
