Hello Jan,
your image portrays a vibrant view of this area of Paris. I was there a few years back & can't remember all these modern buildings,not sure if they are an improvement from the older
buildings with their French charm or not.I really like those thousands of clay chimney pots on the roofs of the older buildings ,a very strong composition with lot's of details,must be very colourful at night,with the addition of these skyscrapers adding their illuminations to the scene. A wonderful city indeed.

Amazing vantage point!! Excellent POV between the city, the cloudy weather has cast a really good mood over this scene. The colours are nice and rich, and the clarity seems very high. An all-round impressive shot, well photographed!

A great PoV Jan.I am surprised at how close La Defense appears to be to the centre of the city.[Having been in Paris and travelled to La Defense on the train,it seemed quite a long way.]
That special light of impending rain adds to the scene.Good colours and sharpness.
I like this one.
