Hi Reid,
Unless the dull sky and weird horizon (appear tilted), I like this picture. The high POV, the red roofs and the road straight ahead it all makes it to me an special view of this town.

Hiya Reid
I agree with Hans about the sky.. horizon im not sure on but I love the view and I mostly like the sunlight catching in the field at the end of the road... like all roads lead to sunny places... yes I am ranting today :-)

splendid visibility on the village. The street makes the picture living

Beautiful view. Good sharpness and details.
I tend to agree with Hans about the horizon. But I can see the image in the FG is leveled. Very strange illusion :-).

A beautiful street scene here Reid! outstanding exposure, although you could use a polarizer on your camera to kill the bright sky! Very nice details!

Dear Reid,
these houses look like miniature houses, and all view looks like a miniature garden.
easygoing country little town is good, especaially for active people in big city.
the essence of this shot may be in the joyful perspective like a rustic painting.
thank you,
Akihisa

Très belle position pour prendre cette angle de vue, Vision général joli avec les lignes de rues et les couleurs des toitures bien particulières.. réal.

Reid this is very nice. The town's architecture and setting are very characteristic of Europe. The clarity and excellent colours add quality to the image. I think you had a vantage point to capture this scene. Well done.

Hello Reid,
I think we are allin agreement about the sky but the houses with their wonderful red rooves more than make up for it! (I would have cropped closer so that the sky was not in evidence. The buildings can easily stand on their own!)
Kind regards,
Bev :-)
ps Thank you for your warm crit on Robinson Castle.
When you were talking about an abbey I thought well here it comes -- great beer!
But no - cheese - well I love cheese and I love the view here Reid. How serious were you about jogging to Belgium?
This to me looks as if I am travelling trhough Belgium - same type of houses - hills - landscape - it's really wonderful.
So you were there in 2006 - if next time you decide to visit - you have to arrange to meet up with some TL members - because that is great fun...
TFS
