Hello Valerie,
Twix seems to be a nice small cat with interesting colours and wonderful eyes in a colour one doesn't find often.
But let me make a small suggestion: try to take photos of him without using a flash. The flash makes the white much to bright and flattens the image - at least I think so. Some shots won't be sharp without using a flash but those that work out are worth all the other tries. Maybe your camera allows you to take photos in "RAW". Then you can do a lot of adjustments to the photo after taking it, correcting a lot of levels. That might help too.
It is not easy to take good pictures of pets and animals as they seem to move all the time or at the wrong moment. But keep on trying.
