le 7/7/07 , un jour ou beaucoup de couples se mariaient, moi je me promenais dans les rues de Lille, sur la place de la vieille bourse, lieu de prédilection des bouquinistes et des joueurs d'échecs.

Audrey,

I love your idea of contrasting the sculpture in the foreground with the people in the background. It can definitely tell as great story. I just think, as someone who had never been to Lille, that the sculpture needs to be more recognizable. I'm sure someone familiar with the area will get more out of the photograph than I have, but the sculpture doesn't really say anything to me and provides no real context to the image; it's just a blob in front of some people. Replacing this with something recognizable would make this a great image and the start of many stories.
