For this shoot :
1 barebulb flash with white umbrella on the left and
1 barebulb flash with white umbrella on the right in
front of the first, a little behind the model who was
nearly between the barebulbs.
I was at 45° on the right of the model.
Just to have a shadow in the middle of the model face
and neck.

J'aime la façon dont tu as joué avec la lumière et l'ombre, cette dernière tombant juste là où il faut sur le visage pour créer une ambiance énigmatique. Très bonne composition décentrée également.
Ce qui, par contre, me dérange, c'est le fait que sa robe noire se fond dans l'arrière-plan, créant un effet de "découpe" façon "buste". Une sculpture plutôt qu'un modèle vivant, en quelque sorte. Ou suis-je choqué un rien trop vite? ;o)

I like your model
This is a very unusually taken shot; short lighting with deep shadows hiding her face, the top of her head is cropped.
But for all of the "broken rules" of this shot, I like it. It's unusual and eyecatching.

Unusual shot! I like the bold crop unsure about the harshness of the light, have seen this type done with a single light with light bounced back into the face via a reflector.Nice shot though mono suits this style of shot
