The Acon Valley is one of the last affluent valley of the Somme that kept an important natural character. Characteristic features of this landscape is a humid meadow criss crossed by the Acon stream and a very sloping side occupied by a very chalk lawn. Successive human occupations , from the Mesolithic until now , acted upon the landscape evolution and are still visible.
From the flood meadow in winter to thr hillside where revail a Mediterranean atmosphere in summer , there is a series of various natural environments as well as an original flora and fauna.
