Witnesses of the time which passes, these hands saw ravelling generations, men and women, technological developments (when it is thought that these hands were going to wash the linen in commonplaces like laundrettes or rivers..instead of today they press on a button.), political régimes to ravel, social projections... that leaves me dreamer think of the courage which our old had... nowadays, one only thinks of complaining...
These hands belong to my grandmother, 90 years soon.

Wonderful shot. I would have liked to have seem just a tiny bit more depth of field so that her other hand was a little bit more in focus as well. Congrats! A good effort!

but what I like most here is the idea, and the perfect presentation.. This position of hands already tells everything you wrote in the note..

It's amazing how the hands can tell so much...
And she's 90?? Her hand don't look like they been around for that long. It's a very powerful, delicate and beautiful photo!

Pourquoi ce coté Sépia j'aurais peut etre aimé un N/B plus profond.
