Hi Marco,
A tree with the roots strongly anchored in the ground... a small church which seems suspended in the airs, at the edge of a precipice...in a play of shadows and light... what could be to better illustrate this note which says that the love is a Risk as much as a Certainty, a constant search (une quête) for the Light to deepest of oneself and other.

Photo and note = A perfect match, here!

Hi Marco,
some beautiful contrasts make this image impressive.
the clear bright blue of the sky and the shadow on eglise and tree.
the round shape of old big tree and the cubic of old stone eglise.
the present lighted by strong sunray and the past suggested by oldness of eglise and tree in the shadow.
and the simplicity in visual image and the mess of idealistic note...

This is an emotional capture, perfect timing with the sun, to be alble to catch all the shaddows! The view behind the chapel is breathtaking and such a contrasting sight to the foreground!
I'm a U2 fan, so I enjoyed the track very much, without even saying it... I found the dialogue in the note very relevant to the posting and very inspired!

This is a real beauty, Marco. I particularly like the wee bit of underexposure and the strong light/shade contrast. I'm not sure about the empty space on the right though... did you try using the tree as a natural frame there?
I like the sense of depth on the left, both vertically and horizontally ;o).

Beautiful capture !
I was at the precisely same place last week. It is very close from Piana. If I can remember, it's not a church but a funeral vault.
I am more interested by photography than stories around it that prevent the one who looks at it to evaluate and feel what an image can show. Shouldn't a photo speak by itself ?
