Frankly, I went to this horse show more to test the capabilities of my new Lumix than to see the horses
knock over fence poles.
I was pleasantly surprised by the results...at only 1/500 s at f8 and ISO 100, this came out pretty sharp. The results with 1/2000 s weren't noticeably better. |

Hi Michael,
This is a very nice stop-action shot, captured at the perfect moment. The horse is a beautiful animal and it's rider doesn't look too bad either! The DOF is really good for f/8 and the slight blurring of the horse's hooves gives a good sense of motion. Have a nice weekend!
