Above the clouds

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [French] |
This pictures was taken at 21000 ft above the earth. No pollution here... Atmosphere is so pure.
Thanks for watching ;o)
How this shot was done :
First of all, i have to tell you that this aircraft has no passengers and that the flight is specially dedicated to photography and followed by a dedicated radar operator.
As some of you asked me, i confirm that the authorities strictly forbid to fly close to a passengers aircraft except for the Air Force.
So, this shot was taken from another aircraft. I was in a "Corvette", a small jet. We were 9 on board :
2 pilots, 2 photographers managing a photographic periscope and the tail cone camera, 2 operators for the video periscope and finally 2 photographers at the lateral windows. This day i was only a passenger in order to prepare the inflight shots i did for my airline. You can see them here :

Have a nice day.

A nice image that is well composed and has great color. Seeing the plane above the clouds is a nice perspective and not something that is seen too often. A little information about how it was taken in the notes would have been nice.

Bonjour Serge,
WoW! une superbe image aérienne de cet avion au dessus des nuages, Excellent Point de vue et détails
et ce n'est pas n'importe qui, qui peut prendre un tel cliché comme tu l'expliques dans ta note..
très beau travail..
tous mes compliments
Michel
Amazing shot Serge, what an opportunity! The colours are very bright and captivating, and the scene does indeed feel very fresh and clean. The only thing I'd do is clone out the piece on the right hand side from the window. Very impressive photo.
TFS,
Scott.
