The depth of field is a bit too short, but this was an experiment ...
For B&W conversion, I used Lightroom with +100 on constrast, -100 on saturation, and correction of +0.6 on exposure ... easy ! ;)

Nicely composed, good use of the shallow depth of field (although personally a little deeper focus would have improved this I think.)

Your note doesn't mention what technique you used for b&w conversion? The result is very rich and pleasing, I would like to know more about that.
