Here’s my brother-in-law reacting to the presentation of his meal in Aups- even in France, sometimes the food doesn’t look so good. Unfortunately, it didn’t taste that much better. :-(
Aups is situated in the Var, 60km north of the Mediterranean Sea. The center of town has many picturesque streets, ancient fountains and sun dials. As a base for visiting the villages of Haut-Var or the Gorges du Verdon, the small town of AUPS is ideal, as long as you have your own transport. It has a lot of charm and still depends to a large extent on agriculture rather than tourism. Its speciality is truffles and, if you're here on a Thursday between November and mid-March, you can witness the truffle market.
PS. I cut off a piece of Albert again! What would Freud say? See the workshop for Albert in his entirety. :-) |
