Carousel Horses

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
The square to the side of the Palais des Papes in Avignon is full of activity with a street market, little sight-seeing trams and this carousel with some of the most beautifully carved and painted horses that I have ever seen. They happily held still as they posed for their portrait.
ISO 100, focal length 14.3 mm Framed, contrast increased a little, cropped and a small distracting area cloned out. I took this one into Photoshop and applied filters to see if the effect would be better. It wasn't, reality turned out to be the best for a change. |

Hallo Louis,
very nice motive. Nice tight crop and great framing. Colors and details are lovely. Good composition.

"Fill the Frame!" "Get Closer Still!"
You have done that. For a rare moment, I can't have the pleasure of doing a crop! This is right on.
Reality is good.
Why isn't this getting more response?
Wow - awesome shot, Lois! Perfectly cropped and composed. Nice of the ponies to cooperate with you. They seem to be quite mannerly.
Gayle :)
