Pont d'Avignon. Only four of the eighteen piles are left; on one of them stands the small Romanesque chapel of Saint-Bénézet. But the bridge is best known for the famous French song "sur le pont d'Avignon".
(Wiki)

I would add: only the Palais des Papes, the palace of the popes, is more famous than Pont d'Avignon.

Hi George,

I studied French for quite a few years, and when I saw your title, I burst into sont.... "sur le pont, D'Avignon, on y dancer"... LOL

I find this a very nie photo with beautiful colors, especially of the water! I do find the people a bit distracting to the left, but I guess they do give us a feel for the scale of the bridge.

thanks for sharing, Lisa
